Green Bags

"Caring for God's Creation" bags are given to each visitor to worship services at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church.

Saint Mark Presbyterian Church, in Rockville, MD, sells reuseable shopping bags at coffee hour and at other opportunities. The bags are made from recyled products. Initial costs for purchase of the bags came from a donation by a member and the congregation's Welcoming Ministry. Proceeds from the sale go to the Presbyterian reforestation project in Haiti. In addition to the sales, the Welcoming Ministry gives a bag to each Sunday visitor.
