A Program for Youth Groups

* An interactive 2 session hands-on program which helps teens explore the connections between their faith and the environment, understand threat of global warming and introduces them to actions they can take in their own lives to create a healthy and sustainable world.

*Empowers youth to be active members of the congregation and support them in projects to help green the space where they worship.

*Sample activities include observing nature, mapping places traveled in a week, and making posters about how participants are going to stop global warming

* Is free and facilitated by the talented staff of Greater Washington Interfaith Power and Light.
